Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. At first she began as an assistant in photography. In the future, her career shifted towards modeling and directing. MacGraw was noticed in her first two movies and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw was a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three years, she was named the top female box office starter in the whole world. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among many others. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
