Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and actress most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In 1956, she got her first big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. Her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she signed with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become a popular director for well-known television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has remained there ever since.
