Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese origin and grew up in Vietnam. The father of her Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family that has long-standing roots in the American South. Olivia was just two years old when her parents split up. She was raised by her stepfather as well as her mother who was an United States Air Force member. Although the family departed Oklahoma and resided in many places, she was educated within Tokyo, Japan. In that period, she participated in many shows in the area as well as becoming an Japanese Fashion Model. Olivia relocated to Los Angeles when her family finally moved back in the United States to follow her dream to be an actress. She began her acting career with a small character. Then, her career began to take off after she was hired as Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed TV show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007, she played Rob Schneider's receptionist. She is the host of "The Daily Nut" and"Formula D" on G4 "Formula D" Podcasts on G4. The sport of surfing is a passion for her and she has been practicing since her TV show Beyond the Break (2006). Her black belt is in taekwondo. At the age of two, her mom remarried. This time she married an US Air Force serviceman. Though the family relocating many times throughout her life, she was raised at Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather was stationed by the military. Attended her studies at University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese and drama arts.
